Easter Flowers, Centerpieces & Gifts

Easter is a celebration of fun, color, and tradition - and every family seems to have their own customs. Whether your morning will consist of an egg hunt or a sunrise service, Adrian Durban Florist has the right flowers for the day. How do you celebrate? Did You Know? The Easter egg has its origination in ancient spring festivals. The egg was considered a symbol of fertility, and women would carry as many eggs as possible around with them, often in grass "nests". The nests eventually became baskets - and were used to carry the eggs, flowers, and other treats.  Read More about Easter Flowers, Centerpieces & Gifts »

Daisies Announce Springtime

There are many flowers that are indicative of spring, but there may not be one more visually recognizable than the classic daisy. This popular flower comes in 4,000 varieties and 23,000 species, meaning that its relatives make up nearly 10% of the world's flowering plants. Yet somehow it never fails to give off a humble aura that is no less beautiful for its unassuming nature. The most iconic version of the daisy is the English daisy, known for its bright yellow center and long white petals. Did You Know? Springtime daisies are the birth flower of April - so if one of your friends or loved ones has an upcoming birthday, these are the flowers to choose. Want a little more color? Call Adrian Durban Florist and speak to one of our floral designers about the lovely species of daisies that are available.  Read More about Daisies Announce Springtime »

Celebrate National Puppy Day

Dogs are more than just domestic animals, they are members of our families. National Puppy Day, celebrated on March 23, encourages people across the country to celebrate the happiness that puppies bring to our lives, as well as to promote adoption from shelters rather than puppy mills. This day gives us an excellent opportunity to thank those who have opened their homes to shelter puppies, as well as to honor the men and women who work in the Cincinnati area to rescue and rehome these sweet animals.  Read More about Celebrate National Puppy Day »
